Loom Room!!!!

A friend of mine gifted me a bunch of wool and supplies and asked me to make her something small. She has a loom room at her house and that inspired me to make something special for her loom room. The stitches used in this piece are: Back, Stem, and the Scroll stitch.

Fairyland!!!

Fairyland!

This was a special project for friends who was having a baby. I thought this would look great in their Fairy themed nursery. There are some really great stitches in this piece including: Bullion, Stem, Back, Threaded Back, Palestrina, and the Chain stitch.

Ewok!

Ewok!
I created this Ewok as a gift and made it into a pillow! I wanted it to be simple but original and precise. I only used a few different stitches in this piece. I used the Drizzle, Back, Palestrina, Stem, and the Fly stitch.

Whooo Whooo Whooo

Whooo Whooo Whooo

This is the second block I have made! I love this one because I love the idea of a mama and baby owl. This project only took me about one month to complete. This block uses many great stitches including: Back, Woven Picot, Seed, Pistil, Bullion Knot, Pekinese, and Palestrina stitch.

Gone Fishing.....

Gone Fishing.....
This past January I needed to occupy myself with some sort of new craft that could be done at home or on the road or anywhere really! I chose to get started with this super cute wool applique project I saw hanging in a quiltshop. This project took me about three months to complete and yet it is still not there because I plan to frame this finished product. The project includes many cool stitches: Palestrina, Pistil, Drizzle, Open Buttonhole Filling, Fly, Couch, and Back Stitch. These stitches can all easily be found in this book. I hope you enjoy this little fishy!
